A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

Death was supposed to be the end, but for Nora, it was only the beginning of a grueling fight for her own soul. After choosing to keep breathing, she finds herself navigating the complex, often painful path toward healing while surrounded by the very men who refuse to let her go. This gripping installment in the Second Chances trilogy masterfully weaves heavy emotional depth with the high-stakes intensity of a paranormal world where survival is a daily conquest.
As a standout in the shifter romance genre, the narrative leans heavily into the tension of a slow-burn reverse harem. Nora’s journey is complicated by the return of her wolf and an impending, volatile first heat. Just as she begins to trust in her protective alpha mates, a kidnapping introduces a shocking seventh addition to her bond, threatening to shatter the fragile peace she has worked so hard to build.
Between the relentless threat of hunters and the internal battle against her own trauma, the stakes have never been higher. With fated-mates, enemies-to-lovers dynamics, and a raw exploration of mental health, this story is more than a romance—it is a powerful testament to the courage required to truly live.

This book was absolutely amazing! I love the story and the showing and depth of mental illness. The author takes us on a journey that is so true to the heart and so absolutely real that some parts of her thinking is heart wrenching. You feel for the character as she goes through her struggles. It's not made up. Nothing is glossed over, and she's not magically cured a few chapters in. It's raw, and it's real, and it's beautiful. This is a true journey of what depression looks like from book one...

Multiple points of view. Nora thought 6 mates were enough, but then she is kidnapped and discovers her 7th mate. Her other mates are not going to be happy with this development. Nora struggles with mental health issues. It helps her that her newest mate also struggles. If only all the guys could get along, specially since her heat is coming now that she has bonded with her wolf after 6 years. Check your own mental health before reading, some issues could be triggering. I liked it. )

Lettuce Frame is a wonderful writer with a great imagination. This story of Nora and her mates is entertaining, sexy and fun. After reading the author’s notes at the end of this box I’m impressed that she was able to write such a wonderfully sexy story of a character that is strong and able to get her life together with Ken that support her. I look forward to reading the next book in this series and other stories from Letty Frame. Thank you Letty and wish you all the best with your health going...

If you're a fan of the genre, you will like this book. I admit, I should have rated the first one higher, in that the author addresses mental illness, specifically depression in an accurate way . Frankly, I'm not into multi shifters and that universe, as it skews the plot/ drama which drives the book. This is what lost me in the Anita Blake series. No prudish feelings over sex scenes, but a growing feeling of boredom. I found myself skipping over a lot of the sex angst and sex scenes looking to...

This book was definitely less triggering than the first in terms of suicidal ideation but it was perfect. I’ve searched so much for books with this type of message. A message that I spent years desperately needing. The message that even though you feel worthless or can’t get out of bed because of your mental health, it doesn’t last forever. The pain will end and it gets better if you just hold on. This is something I have to repeatedly remind myself during my lows still and I came upon this...
