A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

Maddison James thought she was an ordinary human until the world she knew shattered, revealing a hidden reality teeming with shifters, vampires, and fey. Now, she is being thrust into the elite Supernatural Academy, an urban fantasy setting where the curriculum is as lethal as it is mysterious. The catch? Maddison has no idea what kind of supernatural being she actually is, making her an anomaly in a world that demands clear-cut classifications.
Life at the Academy is a minefield of magical mean girls and intense social hierarchies. Enter Asher Lock, the arrogant, infuriating, and undeniably magnetic god-like student who seems obsessed with dismantling Maddison’s defenses. As they are forced into close proximity, their mutual hostility ignites into undeniable tension. This academy trope is elevated by a compelling mystery; Asher is determined to uncover why Maddison’s powers are blocked, unaware that the answer could rewrite their entire existence.
If you are craving a fast-paced paranormal romance that avoids the reverse harem trope, this series is your next obsession. Jaymin Eve masterfully blends high-stakes school drama with a slow-burn connection that feels both dangerous and inevitable. Prepare to be hooked as Maddison uncovers truths that prove nothing in this supernatural realm is what it seems.

I say thank you first because I have finally found a series I can enjoy simply because it isn't a reverse harem. In an urban fantasy market that is overloaded with reverse harems, it is absolutely wonderful to read about and enjoy two characters such as Maddison and Asher who fall in love with just each other. I loved the characters. All of them, including the other three Atlantian males who were quite simply friends with her. All of Ms. Eve's characters as well as the plot are well fleshed out...

Supernatural Academy: Year One (Supernatural Academy, #1) by Jaymin Eve 4 Stars! Read On: 06/04/2021 Supernatural Academy: Year One is my first book by Jaymin Eve, and after reading, I’m not quite sure why I’ve never read one before. After days of starting and discarding books, I read the blurb for this book and finally felt a spark of interest that lasted longer than a couple of chapters. I’m so glad I dove into this world because it’s fascinating and huge. Summary: Madison James has fought...

Keeps you reading and hard to put down. She's one of the best romantisy authors in the business! Think I ready this in 2014 or so the first time but only the first book was out. So happy to find this series again after finding the author again. Will be reading all her series eventually. )

Let's start this review with my absolute love of the cover!! It's stunningly gorgeous!! It makes you want to dive straight into this world!! Maddison is one very loveable character!! You get all these feels for her very early on. She has had such a rough life and everything has been such a hardship for her. Yet, she is not bitter or snarky in the least. Most certainly, she'll stand up for herself and those she loves, but she doesn't resort to violence first. It was almost heartbreaking to see...

You will love the story. The characters are well developed, and the storyline keeps you very engaged. If there is a downside at all, it is very similar to other stories with the same storyline. But it is still a very good read. I would recommend it. )
