by G. Bailey
Six months of captivity under a tyrannical king have turned Gwen into a weapon of mass destruction, forcing her to watch as her own power obliterates cities. But the king made a fatal miscalculation. He intended to break her spirit, yet he only succeeded in sharpening her resolve. Now, reunited with the mates who refuse to see her as a monster, Gwen is ready to reclaim her agency and settle the score.
This explosive finale to The Nexus Series delivers a high-stakes dark romantasy where the line between salvation and ruin is razor-thin. As Gwen and her pack of growly alpha shifters navigate the wreckage of a broken world, the forced proximity of their mission reignites the smoldering, slow-burn tension that defines their bond. They are fighting for a future, but the cost of vengeance may require everything they have left to give.
Prepare for a heart-pounding conclusion filled with electrifying touch-her-and-die moments and complex emotional reconciliations. Whether you are craving fierce shifter dynamics or a battle against twisted Gods, this final chapter promises an unforgettable journey. Gwen and her mates were born from starlight and forged in fire; now, it is time for them to become the legends they were always meant to be.

Ugh! I can't believe it's over. Starbound Souls is the conclusion to Gwen's story, and it was amazing. It's less than two hundred pages, so I knocked this one out fairly quickly. I smiled, I laughed, and I may have even teared up a little bit. Who knew that I would feel sad for Georgina of all people? It was for, like, a millisecond, but still. Everything came together perfectly and with little angst. Gwen was an amazing. I couldn't help but picture that meme of Daniel Craig dancing; that was...

So I did enjoy this series. I feel like I’m missing something with Rhodes and Gwen forgiving him. I liked it but I felt there was miss opportunities at times. I would have like more with Hollis and Franklin. This story ended how it should and I’m happy Gwen finally got her revenge. Love the characters and definitely a series to check out. )

So spoilers friends. Did I miss in the last book where Rhodes was forgiven? Cause we start here with love notes and I missed you. For someone who betrayed her last book I’m a little shook it’s fine now. Also the thing with onyx and severi was not nearly explored enough. They’re connected now? To what end? Can they leave each others sides? For how long? It totally felt like 6 people were too many mates to keep up with. Finn, Alek and onyx were really watered down and hardly present. I was...

If vengeance had a heartbeat, it would sound exactly like this book. Let’s talk about Starbound Souls by G. Bailey because this isn’t just a story… it’s an emotional battlefield wrapped in cosmic power, shattered love, and the kind of rage that burns galaxies. This book plunges you straight into devastation. No gentle warm-up. No soft landing. Just grief, destruction, and a heroine who has nothing left to lose, which, let’s be honest, is exactly when things get deliciously dangerous. Our girl...

Spoilers ahead read at your own risk!! ⚠️ * ⚠️ * ⚠️ * This series has so much potential in the beginning! Book one really blew me away, then felt books 2-4 got progressively worse as they went on. The plot became muddled, the \"twists\" felt underwhelming, the bonds felt more and more forced, the new characters didn't add much of anything. This last book was... okay? I genuinely enjoy reading about these characters but I felt this story could have used more development/ fine tuning maybe? It...
