Betrayal stings, but the mate bond burns. After being captured by the ruthless Leo pack, I am trapped in the clutches of my fated mate, the new alpha who once cast me aside. He claims he wants me back, but he underestimates the fury of an Ophiuchus. While the forced proximity tests my resolve, my heart belongs to the alpha of the lost pack, Kaden. I am a pawn in a dangerous game of pack politics, but I refuse to be a casualty.
This gripping installment of the Zodiac Wolves series dives deep into the high-stakes world of shifter romance. It is a dark, tension-filled journey packed with fated-mates drama, enemies-to-lovers angst, and complex pack dynamics. As I fight to escape my captors and reunite with my chosen family, the line between destiny and desire blurs, leading to a heart-pounding climax that will leave you desperate for answers.
If you crave paranormal romance fueled by magic, intense claiming rituals, and searing chemistry, this is your next obsession. Elizabeth Briggs expertly weaves mystery and betrayal into a fast-paced narrative where every choice could be fatal. Prepare for a massive cliffhanger that will haunt you long after the final page turns.

| fantasy romance | shifter romance | pack life | witches | alpha | wolf shifters | pack dynamics | intrigue | mystery | singular POV | shes MINE | hes MINE | marking | claiming | magic | zodiac signs | fated mates | I am quite literally eating this series up. It is so intriguing to me and I just have to know how this story ends. I love the premise, I love the characters, and I really love the pack dynamics. This is truly one of my first shifter, specifically wolf shifter, reads and it is very...

I expected the cliffhanger, but it was still a doozy! I really enjoyed this book. The plot moves fast. I was really drawn into the action, the politics, the plotting, the battles, etc. I did feel a little frustrated with the romance aspect, which is why it’s 4 stars, instead of 5. I guess, at this point, I am annoyed that Ayla and Kaden don’t talk to each other like adults. It’s all guessing how the other feels. He still keeps things from her or doesn’t bother to tell her things until pretty...

Seriously! Why do I read incomplete series! SMH! SMH! SMH! I hate waiting! Now I have to hang on to this dang cliff until dec...jan...? Gah! Elizabeth Briggs writes it all in this second book. Torture, pain, dark rituals (the binding ritual with Jordan had me holding my breath! Trigger warning potential there.) betrayal, reunion, love, heat and so much more! We finally get somewhere with the Moon Witches but you really need to hold on through out the whole book for it. Kinda annoying because...

This book popped up as an advert on my FB feed. Of course the algorithm knows what I like to read and of course I clicked on the link and well then, I figured I'd read book 1. -- This review will cover all 3 books of the series that are out as of today and will be copied and pasted to the other book reviews. I was really pleasantly surprised. Shifter stories tend to have super young heroines - high schoolish, with high schoolish alphas and they always read like they were written by a student in...

The second book in this series was okay, but not as good as the first. I liked the story and some of the new developments, but I did see most of them coming since the first book. The reason for the three stars is because there was way too much relationship angst that I found annoying and inappropriate, rather than interesting. I liked that the MC’s finally developed a relationship and I don’t mind some steamy scenes in a book, but there was way too much sex to the point where I found myself...
