Where do I even begin? Wade, Wade, Wade. How I adore Wade. He truly carries this book and I believe he shines. Not only does he feel true to the character we met and watched grow up in the Soul Bound series, but he's also so wonderfully complex in terms of the types of tropes that are used to create male characters. We have more of the original cast as well, Patrick, Jono, etc., which makes my heart soar. And the plot felt perfectly created to really let Wade have his moment to shine. Knowing...

Any day where we get more SOULBOUND books is a good day and SECONDHAND SKIN was so good! Wade was a beloved side character in the original series and I'm so happy to see this confident and grown up version of him. Seeing Wade taking on an active role in the pack and working on missions was so much fun. And Wade has clearly learned his negotiation skills from the Patrick Collins School of IDGAF. Secondhand Skin is an excellent addition to the Soulbound Universe. It was great seeing all the characters from previous books continuing with their lives and enjoying their HEAs. I didn’t realize how much I missed them until I read this book. A reread of the entire series is in my near future. I’ve loved Wade from his first appearance early in the series. I always wondered when and how his HEA would come about. He has become a quirky but reliable man who fiercely protects his pack and snacks....
