A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

Sadie has spent her entire life fighting for scraps, but her acceptance into the elite shifter bootcamp is her one shot at freedom. As a warrior destined to transform into a monster, she is ready to prove her worth to a world that consistently underestimates her. However, her path to liberation is blocked by three insufferable, towering roommates who are as lethal as they are arrogant.
Jax, Ascher, and Cobra are the ultimate challenge. These tattooed, horned warriors are convinced that Sadie is weak and destined to fail. Forced into tight quarters with her tormentors, Sadie must navigate a high-stakes enemies-to-lovers dynamic where the tension is as sharp as a blade. They want to break her, but they have no idea what she is hiding behind her defiant exterior.
This dark urban fantasy is a masterclass in witty banter and visceral intensity. While the forced-proximity setup keeps the stakes suffocatingly high, Sadie’s internal monologue provides a hilarious, razor-sharp edge to the chaos. As she prepares to unleash a shifted form that will shatter their expectations, you will find yourself completely hooked. If you crave a paranormal romance that balances brutal conflict with addictive, slow-burn obsession, this is the series you have been waiting for.

I have read some of the low rating reviews and want to address a couple of those complaints. First is plot holes. Yes, there are some big enough to drive a truck through, there’s a spoilery reason for that. The world building is sketchy and there’s a reason for that as well. I will say that we are given clues that foreshadow information that will be important as the trilogy progresses (at least I presume so). There is enough world building to give a basic overview of what type of multiverse the...

The plot does follow a popular trope but the characters and situations are a little more complex than others I’ve read. The banter and voice of conscious of the main character is laugh out loud funny. I love a sarcastic internal monologue and this delivers imo. Looking forward to the next book. )

This series is my new obsession. This first book is great and somehow this author tops it. I loved these books!! So witty, great characters, amazing world, turns I didn't see coming. If you like a ton of spice this will not be for you. There are definitely some fun spicy scenes but this is an incredibly slow slow sloopw burn. So worth the read. If you have a.dark sense of humor and like characfers who are unhinged in the best kind of way then this is a must!! I just finished book 6 and I swear...

Leaving the original review below but coming back to say that I finished the first trilogy in this series and it’s worth the read. The writing gets much better and the characters become much more purposeful and flushed out. I would 100% recommend this series as a whole. Listen, the plot line is decent. I read blood of Hercules and was intrigued to read her other series and it’s clear her writing has grown substantially with blood of Hercules! Was this good? Yeah I’d say I don’t regret reading...

This is my second Jasmine Mas book—and just like the first book Blood of Hercules (from a different series), Psycho Shifters completely pulled me in with its chaotic, spicy, and darkly funny vibe. If you’re into reverse harem (MMFM), shifter fantasy, and enemies-to-lovers tension, this book brings all of that with a generous helping of snark and steam. Sadie is one of those female main characters who’s not just badass, but also very relatable. Her sarcastic, self-deprecating inner monologue had...
