Primal Mirror (Psy-Changeling Trinity Book 8)

by Nalini Singh

About this book

Auden Scott is a woman living in the shadow of a terrifying past. As the daughter of two ruthless, high-Gradient telepaths, she survives with fragmented memories and a mysterious pregnancy that has made her a target for her parents' dangerous associates. Forced into the orbit of Remi Denier, a powerful leopard alpha, Auden finds herself trapped in a high-stakes game of survival where trust is a luxury she cannot afford.

This gripping installment in the Psy-Changeling Trinity series masterfully blends urban fantasy with a gritty, psychological thriller edge. The forced-proximity dynamic between the protective, primal Remi and the enigmatic Auden creates a volatile enemies-to-lovers tension that simmers on every page. As Remi’s feline instincts clash with his human desire to shield her, the two must navigate a web of dark family secrets that threaten the stability of their entire world.

Nalini Singh excels at balancing intense pack dynamics with a deep, character-driven narrative. Whether you are a longtime fan of the series or a newcomer seeking a dark romance filled with high-stakes peril and found-family warmth, this story delivers. Prepare for a heart-pounding journey where the cost of the truth is nothing less than survival itself.

An Amazing Addition to an Incredible Series

July 29, 2024

FINAL DECISION: This book is simply amazing. I loved the interaction between Auden and Remi. Sometimes, the book reads like a psychological thriller, which is perfect for the story. The Psy-Changeling series is an amazing achievement that keeps getting better. THE STORY: Remi, the alpha of the RainFire leopard pack, meets Auden Scott, a psychometric Psy with a troubled past. Months after their initial encounter, Remi discovers Auden is heavily pregnant, with no memory of how it happened. Auden,...

What can I Say Outstanding

Mrs. Singh did not disappoint; I read this book in two days, to be honest I could have read it in only one day. I made myself put it down to work. The introduction of many new characters along with some old lovable favorites was beautiful inter grated. The story was suspenseful, heartwarming, and joyous to read. It was rich in storyline, and characters building. It had just the right amount of fluff without losing the gripping, heart pounding, story being told. I was unwilling to have the story...

Great book!!

The Trinity series has been great. Developing new characters and melding them in perfectly with the existing original characters is smoothly accomplished by Nalini. A new leopard pack in this that helps support the fall of silence with the birth of a powerful new life bonded to a cat. I'm glad to see the human alliance, changing and psy pulling it all together. )

Emotional rollercoster in the best way

This edition to this series was everything you could have wished for. A slow burn romance, action, family dalmatics, pack interactions, old friends, some new ones, a recovering net mind. I loved this book from the start, it has everything, tears, laughter, passion, a little bit of fear, and the final ending to an old councilor that we thought long gone. We go back to Rain Fire pack, leopards, and get to see how some of our favorite cubs have grown. An old friend on his wonderings makes an...

I am still in a bit of a book hangover, and desperate for the next book!

I am still in a bit of a book hangover, and desperate for the next book! I have been curious to learn more about Remi from his first introduction. And Auden Scott, I was not expecting all that at all. Their love of course was a main part of the story, but as you know if you read the series, there is always so much more going on. You get caught up on everyone else, the PsyNet issues, have new bombs dropped to speculate on. It is always a rollercoaster ride of emotion that I love to go on. I do...
