Guðrun is a fighter who refused to break even when sold into slavery. After a harrowing escape from captivity, she believes the nightmare is over, only to crash-land on the brutal, lawless terrain of Outcast Island. Now, she is the prey in a savage game, hunted by ruthless vampires who crave both her body and her blood.
She finds an unlikely protector in Magnus, a powerful and darkly beautiful male who whisks her away to his lair. While the island is a landscape of terror, Magnus is different. He is patient, possessive, and terrifyingly intense, making it clear he intends to claim her as his own. Yet, Guðrun harbors a secret that defies the rigid biology of their world. She is not the typical omega he expects, and the biological expectations of his kind seem impossible for her to fulfill.
This gripping entry in the Exiled Sector series is a must-read for fans of dark paranormal romance. It masterfully blends alpha-omega dynamics with a high-stakes dystopian setting. If you crave a story packed with intense heat, nesting, and the primal allure of knotting, this thrilling vampire romance promises an unforgettable, pulse-pounding escape into the dark.

Outcast Island: Exiled Sector Book 3 by Jennifer Thorn is an exhilarating addition to the vampire omegaverse genre. After her rescue, Guðrún crash-lands on Outcast Island, where she soon becomes the target of those seeking her omega status. Thankfully, she’s discovered by Magnus, the only vampire in self-imposed exile on the island. Despite his struggle with blood rage, Guðrún, as an empath, takes on his turmoil, forging a powerful bond between them. Both never expected to find their mate, but...

Outcast Island by Jennifer Thorn is a dystopian paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Alyssa Avery and Ash Beverly. This is the third book in the Exiled Sector series and can be read as a standalone. This is the second book of Jennifer's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship between Magnus and Guðrún. I liked getting Magnus, Guðrún, and Sigurd's points of views throughout the book. Ash and Alyssa did an amazing job on the narration....

I liked this book. 3 stars for rating, 4 for spice. It had a slightly different take on how AOB works, and also having that system in vampires isn’t a common thing. I liked how their powers complemented each other. It did leave a side plot open with questions but maybe that’ll be answered in a different book with those other characters. ) One person found this helpful

This book has a fascinating AOB/vampire lore and world building. I do wish we could have seen more of life on outcast island itself, but I absolutely loved it. There are definitely some dark moments that are not for the faint of heart—the whole blood of my enemies thing, ya know? But if you like growls alphas who would do anything for their omegas then this is the book for you. And there is quite a bit of spice, with some scenes fairly early on. I’d give it 4 peppers. It’s got a lot of spice...

Magnus hasn’t broken any laws, but is on Outcast Island due to his uncontrollable powers. He is mid-fight with other alphas when a passing capsule is shot down to hopefully crush him. That capsule contains omega Gudrun, who turns out to be a match for Magnus. A win-win for this duo. Magnus will not allow her to be sold by her father, and she provides the ability to control his powers. Dark, full of chemistry and heat, an engaging listen! Narrators are unusual. The female voice has a very heavy...
