A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

by Sherrilyn Kenyon
The war between Dark-Hunters and the forces of darkness reaches a boiling point as Stryker, the formidable leader of an army of demons and vampires, prepares to execute his ultimate revenge. Consumed by the need to avenge his sister, he plots the total annihilation of his enemies, threatening the safety of the entire human race. Yet, just as his grand scheme is set into motion, the past crashes into his present with the arrival of his greatest adversary: his ex-wife, Zephyra.
This gripping installment in the beloved shifter and paranormal romance series masterfully balances high-stakes supernatural warfare with a blistering second-chance romance. As the world teeters on the brink of destruction, Stryker finds himself forced into an unexpected alliance with the woman who once broke his heart. Their volatile reunion is the definition of enemies-to-lovers, filled with sharp banter, centuries of resentment, and a physical chemistry that refuses to be suppressed even amidst a brewing apocalypse.
Whether you are a longtime fan of the Dark-Hunter universe or a newcomer searching for your next addictive paranormal obsession, this story delivers. It is a dark, intense, and surprisingly emotional journey that challenges the boundaries of loyalty and love. Dive into a night where the shadows bite back and the only thing more dangerous than the enemy is the woman from your past.

As shared in other reviews, as an ultra sensitive empathic intuitive, having taught psychic/intuitive development and the Tarot, I am very much drawn to paranormal and urban fantasy books, not to live in a fantasy world, but to evolve my thinking that there is more going on in life, than what always meets the eyes to see.My husband works in a health food store and they have a book drop off. He happen to see book 18 \"bad moon rising\" and brought it home for me...I read the book, felt like...

More like 4.5 stars... Intially, I was planning not to read this book because I couldn't stand the thought that Stryker offed his son (who he supposedly loved) for a reason that makes no sense. That was a turn-off for me. I love the idea of villains, but for me, that is a red line I wish he didn't cross. I don't mind him being the enemy who is after our favourite characters or even that he feeds off humans, but offing your son for a stup!d reason was a no-no. I was planning to look at spoilers...

Have you ever read a series and by end of it you really hated the \"bad guy\"? You know the guy that always was causing trouble with everyone else? Well this book will blow you away. It will change the way you perceive the \"bad guys\" in stories. It gives you a new perception into him, and explains why he does what he does. Through the entire series that Sherrilyn writes the main character in this book, Stryker, is always doing terrible things. You come to hate him, he is the ultimate \"bad...
