Never Cry Wolf (Night Watch)

by Cynthia Eden

About this book

Lucas Simone is the kind of alpha who commands any room he enters, but behind his predatory gaze and hardened exterior lies a man defined by his pack dynamics and an unexpected, unshakable code of honor. As the most dominant wolf on the West Coast, he is built for war and protection. However, his life takes a volatile turn when Sarah King arrives on his doorstep, desperate for sanctuary after witnessing a brutal crime.

Sarah is not the damsel in distress she pretends to be, harboring secrets that could jeopardize them both. Yet, in the high-stakes world of the Night Watch, she finds an unlikely home among Lucas’s pack. What begins as a strategic alliance quickly sparks into a primal connection, as the tension between them threatens to shatter their self-control. Lucas is determined to keep her safe, but he soon realizes that unleashing her own buried wild side might be the only way to ensure they both survive the darkness closing in.

Perfect for fans of intense paranormal romance, this story masterfully blends suspense with sizzling chemistry. If you crave a found-family dynamic paired with an alpha hero who will burn the world down to protect his mate, look no further.

Never Cry Wolf by Cynthia Eden

July 6, 2011

I found Cynthia Eden while stolling the bookstore one day. Do you ever do that just go to the bookstore and wander? Well, I am known to do that a lot, and while browsing Cynthia's book, Eternal Hunter, was calling to me. So I purchased it and put it in the \"to be read\" pile. I picked it up about a week later, started reading, and my fate was sealed! I devoured that book and the other two Night Watch books in three days. On day four I read Never Cry Wolf and now I know I will be spending the...

Wish I'd Read Immortal Danger First

September 23, 2011

~* 3.5 Stars *~ After the brutal slaying of a close friend, Sarah King knows her only hope of staying alive is to secure the protection of the strongest alpha wolf in California, Lucas Simone. To get him to agree, however, is going to take a hell of a lot more than batted eyelashes and a \"pretty please with sugar on top\" plea. When she finally gets to him, sees him in person, the full meaning of the old adage of being caught between a rock and a hard place becomes painfully clear. Lucas...

Never Cry Wolf

Another great novel from Cynthia Eden. Never Cry Wolf is as enjoyable as all her other novels are. It had a little of everything including suspense, romance, action, mystery and HOT wolves. This book was fast paced and really hard to put down. Although this could be a stand-alone book, I would suggest reading Immortal Danger first which will give you insight on some of the characters, who do come back. This story centers around Lucas Simone who we've first met in Immortal Danger, but now...

Good but could be better

October 16, 2011

After reading this I put it down thinking..well its over and I might read something by her again but I wouldn't rush. The world building was good, not great. The main characters were good, not great. There was a pack but we only saw 4 members which I thought was really odd. The Alpha jumped without thinking into almost every situation which didn't seem to indicate a leader more of a hot head. Sara could command wolves and no one ever thought to use this in the big battle to the last second. I'm...

Lucas and Sarah...

June 29, 2011

I loved Lucas in Immortal Danger, and was pleased when I found out he had his own story to tell. I will admit to having a few fleeting moments, while reading Immortal Danger, of hoping Maya would end up with Lucas instead of Adam. Lucas is an awesome hero. VERY Alpha. Fearless, strong, smart, in control and loyal to the pack. A legend among werekind. So tender with Sarah, and so protective of her. Sarah comes looking for Lucas for protection. I don't want to give away details, as the story...
