Moon Touched: Zodiac Wolves, Book 1

by Elizabeth Briggs

About this book

Ayla is a half-human outcast within the brutal Cancer pack, surviving on the fringes of a society that views her as nothing more than a mistake. She has spent her life praying for the Convergence, hoping her fated mate will provide her a path to a better life. Instead, the universe delivers a devastating blow when she is claimed by the future alpha of the rival Leo pack—only to be cruelly rejected before her entire family is slaughtered in a bloody pack war.

Left with nothing but a thirst for vengeance, Ayla is abducted by the leader of the legendary 13th pack, a group long considered a myth. This dark, dangerous alpha offers her an intoxicating deal: help him bring down the wolves who destroyed her world, and she will finally have her retribution. As she is plunged into the lethal politics of pack dynamics and forbidden desires, she must decide if she can trust the man who holds her captive.

Blending high-stakes action with a scorching enemies-to-lovers narrative, this paranormal romance is a gripping journey of survival and second chances. If you crave intense, dark shifter tales filled with found-family tension and fated-mate drama, this is the addictive series starter you have been waiting for.

Rejected Mate Romance

March 11, 2026

Ayla has always been an outcast in the Cancer pack. Beaten, shunned, and treated as less than—especially by her own father, the Alpha—because of her half-human heritage. With the Convergence approaching, she dares to hope her life might finally change. A wolf of her own. A mate. A real place to belong. At first, it seems like everything is falling into place. She manifests a stunning white wolf, and the Sun Witches reveal her fated mate—even if it’s someone she despises. None of that matters...

Captivating story

The wobbling of Earth causes the dates of the zodiac to shift from those established in ancient times so the star sign you think you are most likely isn't accurate. Which annoys me to no end when people adamantly maintain that they are a certain sign when its not even correct. (Sorry for mini rant but this is a book about astrological signs after all) That being said, this was a very interesting and unique concept. I had this book sitting in my TBR pile for quite awhile since I hate...

Go Alya!

My chaos brain loves picking up random books at random times, and this one came to me for a reason. After hearing about Elizabeth’s passing, I wanted to answer the call to support her family and I’m so genuinely glad I did. Moon Touched was so much more than I expected. Ayla’s strength completely stole my heart. After a lifetime of rejection and being beaten down, she still carries so much resilience and quiet power. Watching her navigate a world that has never been kind to her was deeply...

Great series with an amazing plot

This book gives a zodiac spin on wolf shifters and it works. Every character in this series is perfect and Elizabeth Briggs is a genius. This is a must read as well as her other series including Seraphim Academy and Claimed by Lucifer. )

Great storyline… could definitely use a great editor who knows how to show, instead of tell.

This is definitely a great, classic “shifter” romance. I really enjoyed the premise, but craved correcting the use of filter words and “telling”. The use of “I thought” constantly said after internal thought and italics (where it shouldn’t be used), filter words and telling, pulled me out of the story. A good editor would have caught all these little nuances and corrected them. On a positive note: the story itself is compelling, as are the characters. Although I felt there was lost opportunity...
