I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story was laid out beautifully allowing for spice that didn't consume the storyline. Seeing Mal as the artist, not just another poorly written demon that is only out to destroy and consume, kept my interest in his character. Too many use demons as a means to incorporate the dangerous dark factor without broadening the storyline. Shannon's lonely love life gave her the curiosity to open herself to the unimaginable. And now she has her tall, dark, and sexy mate...

This was fine. It was quick and easy. I had seen the author post to TikTok so I figured I would give it a try. Plot. Shannon buys an old spell book from a local bookstore that claims to have a ritual for finding your one true love. Shannon does and bang, she summons a hot sexy demon who is utterly obsessed with her. There isn’t a ton of depth to this. This isn’t a book for anyone looking to have a super critical thinking, in-depth analysis of what they are reading. But if you want something fun...

The plot was amazing, when it comes to the plot of this book. I give it 5 ⭐ The issue is everything around the plot itself that has me meh on the whole thing. I struggled to read this book while also enjoying the story line of what's going on around it. Its... Interesting. To say the least. This was an amazing book seen through both povs and one is just as funny as the other. It had steam and romance and sweetness but also had you rooting for the mail from the get go. I'm off to read the next in the series. I suggest you grab this one and get ready to be entertained! )

This was a good Romance refresher read after binging some heavy trigger trope romances. It was fun it was silly and surprisingly really sweet. I got a kick out of the whole actions have consequences part and I can't leave out how cute Mal and Shannon are together. A unique new demon to read about. I quite enjoyed it. )
