A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

Hanna Harvey just wanted a quiet life as a gallery assistant, but finding a vampire’s severed head in her trunk has officially derailed those plans. As the world’s most powerful bloodsuckers swarm her like a plague, Hanna is thrust deeper into a brewing inter-species war. Her boss, the brooding and unpredictable alpha wolf Mark Abernathy, is convinced that someone is using Hanna as a pawn in a deadly game. With a suspended detective hot on their trail and ancient, sinister forces closing in, the danger has never been more visceral.
This installment in the Tails from the Alpha Art Gallery series perfectly blends dark romance with high-stakes urban fantasy. Fans of pack dynamics and found-family tropes will adore the tension between Hanna and her alpha, whose hot-and-cold intensity keeps the romantic stakes as volatile as the supernatural ones. Between the snarky internal monologue and the mounting mystery, the narrative keeps you on the edge of your seat.
As Hanna faces a destiny she’s spent the entire series trying to outrun, she must finally choose: ascend to her rightful place in the pack or lose everything she holds dear. For readers craving a gritty, witty, and addictive paranormal romance, this is the gripping chapter you have been waiting for.

So much to take in! There is so much going on it almost made me anxious, then I would re-read a few paragraphs a little slower. Lol! Then I was able to take it in & follow the story better! It really gets you thinking! )

So, I really like almost all of the characters. I love the way the author writes, and how Hanna's internal monolog is so funny. Abernathy, however, pretty much drives me crazy. He runs hot and cold constantly. He keeps secrets from Hanna on a daily basis. He's just a lousy leading man. The ending felt very rushed on this one. ) 2 people found this helpful

I !over these books! The snarky comments, her trying to delay the inevitable. And sexy Abernathy..oh my!! I felt sorry for Morrison but hey, life sucks sometimes. I loved that she found a brother and she's a cat person. What's not to love? The crazy characters thru out the book kept it light and funny. It was a refreshing read. )

I’m sad that this is the last. I want to follow more of Hanna and Mark’s story. What happened with Steve and Shayla. And what about Morrison? Too many stories that need to be told. But a really great book! )

Second volume is very good as well. Third volume fizzled out. The last third of the third volume me was very rushed, like she needed to finish in a hurry. The events were cut short. In trying not to spoil it I can only say it was disappointing. I don’t think the final get together of H and h was good. It was rushed and unbelievable. Hero did a 180 without any angst at all. One short paragraph of two or three short sentences. Yes I understand why he did. Yes we all knew he would. It was...
