Etienne Argeneau has a stalker who has shot him near the heart which was then the 1st time he met Rachel Garrett, the ME; he was brought in as a corpse. The 2nd time that he met Rachel was after his stalker tried to blow him up with his car & he was brought to the morgue again; but this time Rachel was killed by his stalker when she tried to save his life, so he turned her to save her life. & now the fun really begins as he & his family try to convince her that she's not a \"blood sucking...

This was the second time that I've read this book and you know what? It's just as good the second time around as it was the first time ! The story is basically a drama with romance and a little comedy thrown in making the story light hearted. It's a quick read and there's much more to come in the Argeneau series. If you're new to Lynsay Sands and her vampire (immortals) series, start with the first book in it, \"A Quick Bite\". You won't be sorry ! )

When I first had heard of the Argeneau Vampire series, I was instantly hooked. This one is the second one of the series and one again, I loved it! This one tells of a woman named Rachel, who works in a morgue on night shift.
