A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

by Jayci Lee
The fate of the Realm of Four Kingdoms hangs by a silver thread as an ancient, eternal darkness threatens to consume everything Sunny holds dear. As a fox spirit grappling with a terrifying prophecy, she finds herself questioning her own nature. Is she the savior the world desperately needs, or is she the spark that will ignite its final destruction?
Steeped in rich Korean folklore, this explosive conclusion masterfully balances high-stakes fantasy with the searing intensity of a forbidden romance. Sunny must navigate a treacherous path that leads her back to the Kingdom of Mountains, a place strictly off-limits and ruled by the man she cannot forget. Ethan, her fated counterpart, stands at the center of a conflict where duty constantly wars with desire.
For fans of paranormal romance, this series delivers a perfect blend of shifter lore and historical intrigue. The enemies-to-lovers dynamic burns brighter than ever as Sunny and Ethan face a choice that could redefine their destinies. Will they bow to the weight of ancient prophecies, or will they defy the gods to forge their own uncertain future? Prepare for a heart-wrenching, epic finale that proves sometimes love is the most dangerous power of all.

Didn't know much about Korean culture and folklore before I started reading this series. Jayci Lee writes a heck of a story. )

Too much horn dogging and fighting and not enough story. I would love to have known more about the characters, the places, their individual stories, etcetera. I felt like the potential was there, but it wasn’t allowed to bloom into fruiting. I think the editor also shares some of the blame for not pushing for the story to be more balanced. Kinda disappointed, but hope the author will do better in the future and have more confidence in the interest characters and the world she develops....

This was such a well-written trilogy. I enjoyed the entire ride (as evidenced by the fact that I've re-read them multiple times already) - thank you, Jayci Lee! The integration of Korean folklore with modern characters - particularly Sunny's snarky, and sometimes inappropriate comments - were masterful. Whether you are familiar with Korean culture or not, this was a beautifully woven tale that will have you yearning for more! )

✨️💙✨️💙 \"To hope eternal that shines brightest in the darkest nights.\" \"Hope that... love is more powerful than hate, good will prevail over evil, and the light will always dispel the dark. Shine.\" ☆Dedication in Light Burned by Jayci Lee. This is the third and final installment of the Realm of Four Kingdoms trilogy by Jayci Lee. Both books one and two were five star reads for me. Light Burned is a four star read for me, and the reason is simple - Pacing. Light Burned jumps directly from...
