What an eye-opening book for me! I am not a huge fan of paranormal/shapeshifter/fantasy stories, but I do dip my toe in those waters occasionally. So when an author I love comes out with such a book, I do not hesitate to dive in. With Reina Torres, I know the characters will be fully developed, the writing perfect and the plot engrossing. The technical stuff: This book is part of a larger series but it completely stands alone and DOES NOT end on a cliffhanger. There is very minimal cursing (no f-bombs), on-screen sex and some very quickly described violence. If those things are going to cause you leave a bad review, you should skip this one. I don't read shifter books. Paranormal is just not a genre that appeals to me normally, but I am a huge fan of Reina Torres' writing so I decided to give this one a try and I am SO glad that...
