Sparks fly on the ice when a chance collision brings together two worlds that were never meant to cross. Jeannie is a dedicated single mother just trying to make the holidays special for her son, Max. Remington, a rugged grizzly shifter, is navigating his own challenges as a single father to his young daughter, Eva. Neither of them is looking for romance, but fate has a way of complicating even the most carefully laid plans.
This charming paranormal romance perfectly captures the grumpy-sunshine dynamic, blending the intensity of shifter instincts with the warmth of a cozy holiday hearth. As the two families collide, they must move past their own broken histories to find common ground. Watching the gruff, protective Remy trade his intensity for home-cooked breakfasts and heartfelt apologies is the ultimate treat for readers who love a hero who is as soft for his family as he is fierce in his convictions.
If you are craving a heartwarming escape filled with adorable kids who steal the show and a slow-burn connection that evolves into a forever family, this story is your perfect festive match. Dive into this enchanting world where love is the best gift of all.

This story will catch your attention and keep it. As you read about Jeannie with Max and Remy with Addy and Eva, meet, become friends then become a family full of love and understanding. Another great read from Roxie Ray. I can't wait to get started on another of her books. )

The sex was hot, though not the main focus, their kids and relationship were. Remy had been mated before but his mate was born with a genetic disorder that shortened her life span and made it impossible for her to...

I really enjoyed the story. My only complaint is that it was entirely too long. By the end of the story it seemed like every character had their own chapter. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers. ) 2 people found this helpful

Wonderful plot HOWEVER Waaaayyyyy to much overexplaining on every little thing and it got super annoying fast. Also, Remy the male lead was way too freakin into his feelings to even be considered an Alpha Bear. I'm not saying he didn't need it, but it was so over the top it made me not look at him as an Alpha. )
