Ezra Jones discovers that his life is far more complicated than a simple post-funeral hangover when he wakes up covered in blood and realizes he is no longer entirely human. Enter Callum Dawson, a commanding Alpha who arrives with a jarring revelation: Ezra has been turned into a werewolf. Thrust into a hidden world of pack dynamics and rigid rules, Ezra must rapidly adapt to his new reality while struggling with the undeniable, electric pull toward the man tasked with overseeing his transition.
This gripping paranormal romance masterfully blends high-stakes mystery with a simmering, slow-burn attraction. As Ezra balances his professional life at the CDC—where he is desperately working to uncover the origins of a deadly lycan epidemic—he finds himself caught in a dangerous game. The tension between him and Callum is as volatile as the shifting world around them, creating a dynamic that is both intensely protective and deeply provocative.
For readers craving a fresh take on the wolf-shifter genre, this story offers a unique, grounded perspective on pack life that feels both plausible and exhilarating. When a sinister threat emerges to hunt Ezra for his own secrets, the stakes skyrocket. Prepare for a ride that is as heart-pounding as it is dangerously sexy.

I do like these authors' take on werewolves, I thought the way they chose to \"connect\" werewolves in our society was believable and plausible, I really *liked* the rules under packs operate, not the least because those rules seem to evolve to fit the fact that these beings indeed live amongst the humans in modern society and they indeed have a great deal of humanity in them. In fact, I would have love to meet most of the werewolves of this book - I actually *liked* them. I really enjoyed...

I love werewolf books. However, despite my searching and searching I have not been able to find one that I'm satisfied with. Thankfully, I finally stumbled upon this book and it is what I have been waiting for. The authors have a unique concept of werewolves that was new and interesting and you didn't forget that the characters weren't human like in some werewolf books. The werewolves have very sensitive noses and pheromones play quite a big role in this novel. Also, in is this novel mates...

Hair of the Dog was a fun, easy read (in a good way!)--not to mention sexy! I've read a lot of werewolf novels, and I can honestly say I've never read one quite like this one. It was interesting to hear a new take on the infrastructure of the werewolf society from both a political and genetic level. That said, it didn't bogged down in the details of that, but it added a nice backdrop and framework for the story, which was part romance and part mystery (who done it kind of thing). ) One person...

It was one the best stories that I had read in a long time. Literally when I read some of the chapters to see if I want to buy it, after reading about two chapters of it I had to buy and finish it. I did that in one day. It is very romantic and the mystery of hte illness going was also a pull. The plot was perfect for me and I like how they start out. I am like I can't believe that I finish a great story. So if you like a mystery/romantic/werewolf story then this is one to have and keep. )

In addition to the great cover, this book was fun and gave a slightly different and unique take on werewolves which made it very much enjoyable to me. Ezra is having a rough life lately. His father just died, he's lost his job and he's just been unknowingly made into a werewolf by a crazy, disease infected lycan. In comes Callun. Alpha lycan to the local pack, doctor, scientist and investigator of the new lycan disease called alphatropin regulatory dysfunction (ARD). When he finds out about...
