Samantha of the Clarity shifters is trapped in a desperate bargain: agree to a forced mate bond with her pack’s future leader to save her loved one, or watch everything she cherishes crumble. But when a ritual goes awry and summons the terrifying Shadow Beast and his lethal mate, Mera, the carefully constructed walls of her life begin to shatter. Secrets are unearthed, and the path to freedom shifts from a simple pack duty to a dangerous gamble involving the gods themselves.
The stakes skyrocket when Len, the enigmatic prince of the Silver Lands, enters the fray. To secure the salvation of her kin, Samantha is forced into a binding pact with the very fae she has spent her life fearing. This high-stakes paranormal romance masterfully weaves together dark-romance intensity with the warmth of found-family dynamics. As Samantha navigates the treacherous politics of the faerie realm, she discovers that the prince is far more than a captor; he is a challenge to her heart and soul.
Bursting with snark, intense pack-dynamics, and a fated-mates connection that defies destiny, this installment is a must-read for fans of immersive fantasy. It offers a perfect blend of steam and substance, delivering a gripping standalone tale that proves even in the shadow of gods, love might just be the most powerful force of all.

A six book series that was written well wasn’t too overfilled with porn instead of a good story. The story is still took precedence. The descriptive writing made me able to see the pictures of what was going on in my head almost nothing left out anywhere. I’d like to see another two or three books in this particular series. I think there’s room for that following the angel. Their fault, warrior brother to come back and claim his mate who also seems to be on earth somewhere Another book filled...

I hope this is not the end of this world! I absolutely loved all the characters, male & female! Of course, we want to know what happens to Gallei. And Allister. And the 2 unknown forces. It doesn't seem fair to leave them out. All in all, the 1st book was still my favorite. Shadow is just my kinda man. However, they are all delightful. Funny, original, super spicy and romantic. I dont even know where I'm gonna go from here! Lol ) 3 people found this helpful

Okay... First things first... I loved this series...and I was fortunate enough to catch them while they were all available to read back to back and not have to wait for any release dates... So for sure a win. There was nothing boring to me about any of the characters -each came with their strengths and weaknesses. And while I loved the series... I felt the sex scenes were a bit too drawn out for me... NOT that it is a bad thing for everyone... (This is just a personal preference so I wasn't...
