One whiff of Nia’s scent shattered the iron control of Levi, the formidable Alpha of the Wintermoon pack. In a moment of primal obsession, he claimed her as his fated mate, tearing her away from her dying grandmother and stripping her of all agency. What begins as a desperate abduction soon evolves into a complex, gut-wrenching study of power, consent, and the agonizing path toward redemption.
This dark paranormal romance masterfully blends intense pack dynamics with a searing, slow-burn connection. As Nia navigates her initial hatred toward the man who stole her freedom, she discovers a side of Levi defined by unexpected patience and vulnerability. Yet, this is not a fairytale; it is a raw, emotional exploration of two souls struggling against the weight of a forced bond. The narrative challenges the boundaries of traditional shifter tropes by prioritizing the messy, often painful process of earning trust after a betrayal that cannot be easily undone.
For readers who crave a story where the characters are as flawed as they are magnetic, this journey offers a haunting, high-stakes experience. It is a found-family saga shaped by heartache and the uncertain promise of a future that may never truly heal the scars of the past.

Levi and Luna story was very interesting. Glad they were able to figure it out in the end. Now what are we going to do with Olivia. )

I felt so sorry for Levi. I also wanted to ring Levi’s neck for the poor choices. And Nia made me want to scream, however, I understood it. Getting snatched away from your world and being left with no choices, bitterness is to be expected. Overall good story. I wanted more of Levi’s personality, but I loved getting a peek into the pack’s dynamic. Also, Skylar!? I didn’t know you had it in you, girl! Haha! Poor Micah. That boy didn’t catch a break. I think something that Author Tessa Stone...

Ok, these books for me ate 5 star and beyond kind of reads. But , this time , these were quite a few discrepancies that were hard to ignore. I don't want to ruin anything for anyone, but i had a hard time telling who was speaking and a difference of characteristics of the brothers ,, but I will just say that, even with those typos, it was a phenomenal read !! Reading Nia's POV was enlightening. When I heard that Nia was getting her own book, I was like, ok. Great. But reading her journey, helps...

From the beginning by reading the other books, you always hear how the shifter males don’t want to end up like Levi and Nia. They are a cautionary tale that is a guide on basically what not to do when finding your mate. I’m so happy that the author gave us this book because hearing bits and pieces of their story in the other books and how she is I knew that there was more to it. Even From the bits that we were getting from the a little information that we got from the other stories I couldn’t...

I’m glad I read this book it gave me a better understanding of Nia and Levi’s beginnings, now while I do understand the depth of what Levi did, I did find myself disliking Nia still. I understand her situation wholeheartedly but I’m a firm believer in forgiveness and once you forgive someone that needs to be it, you can’t keep backtracking when things aren’t going your way. And I honestly believe no matter what she says she will never truly forgive Levi, because angry or not why would she name...
