*Review contains spoilers* Forced Bonds started with the shocking twist at the end of the previous book wherein Sage, Oli's best friend, k**led a Shield out of nowhere, making everyone question who their allies and enemies were. \"The little bit of peace I’ve found here in the Sanctuary is gone with one swipe from the Resistance.\" Oli felt betrayed and started to doubt her friendship with Sage. She could not decide if Sage was genuine or if she was a spy and had an ulterior motive all along....

Excellent book overall. Beginning was a bit slower than other books (lots of plotting, planning, and working out who the threats are), but it picks up nicely and the story is pretty evenly paced. The MMCs are (mostly) lovingly devoted to Oli by now and it’s so interesting to see how their personalities handle protecting and respecting Oli. And man is she TOUGH. Her bond seems to be cooperating more with her, too. You can see the character development of the bond very clearly. It’s very well...

This book of course was amazing just like the last 3, but the ending to this book really got be it was so emotional and thank god I started this series when it was already completed so that I could jump right into the next one! I definitely think we learn a lot more in this book about Oli's bond and the relations it has to North and Nox's bonds so I can't wait for more to be revealed! Unexpected moments and totally suspenseful throughout, this book was another fascinating look inside this world. The darkness is mesmerizing from the group that stars in this book. The danger is palpable. I am in awe of this talented author’s ability to write such a fantastic story. I cannot wait to read the rest of their journey. )

Wow what a whirlwind! This is my second time reading series and I feel like I missed so much from the first time I read it. Now that it’s been a few years I will say reading preferences change, however this is still my favorite book series. I think everyone is team Gryphon but I feel like our author tends to favor him and North which in turn translates to our MFC Oli. She had a bond haze with North and Gryphon but when it’s Atlas’s turn somehow she still finds a way to sleep with North right...
