A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

Flint is the Agency’s deadliest sniper, a snake shifter who hides his soft heart behind a lethal exterior. When he finally meets his mate, the encounter is a disaster. Arrow, a blunt wolf shifter from the Cybercrimes unit, lets his arrogance get the better of him, uttering words that shatter their connection before it truly begins. Flint chooses to walk away, leaving his mate behind to complete a mission, but the Fates have other plans. The agonizing pull of the bond proves that some connections are impossible to ignore, even when the damage feels permanent.
This gripping addition to the Assassin’s Alley series perfectly blends high-stakes action with a deeply emotional second-chance romance. As the tension mounts, Arrow must trade his ego for humility, proving through his actions that he is worthy of a second shot at love. It is a slow, rewarding journey of growth and vulnerability that tests their resolve.
With the support of their chaotic, loving found family, the pair navigates external pressures from those who doubt the legitimacy of their bond. If you love paranormal romance filled with intense shifter dynamics, heart-wrenching misunderstandings, and the ultimate payoff of a hard-won happily ever after, this story is a must-read.

I just loved Flint and Arrow's story. It was really sweet watching them grow together and overcoming their insecurities. I loved how they balanced each other so perfectly and I love their found family. I love all the assassins and their mates and how they come out and come together to support each other. I'm looking forward to the next Assassin's story. I do love all of Lisa's books. They all bring something special to their world and mine as well. Every one of Lisa's stories and characters,...

I really enjoyed Flint and Arrow's story. After reading about their first meeting in the epilogue of Devon and Wren's book, I really disliked Arrow. I wasn't sure how the author was going to redeem him and make him worthy of Flint. But, she was absolutely able to do it. Arrow had to take a hard look in the mirror to see what he'd done to his fated mate and then work hard to overcome what he did and said to Flint at their first meeting. Flint made him work for it but that's what made their...

Lisa did a lovely job getting Flint and Arrow together. Wow, it was a lot of work and it took combined efforts of the whole team (the whole family) to help them work it out. Great job! Can’t wait to read about Calvin and Levi and their third. Will be sorry to see the end of this series. )

I love Lisa Oliver, she builds the world and creates characters that you fall in love with. I usually finish her books in a few hours and then am sad because I finished the book already. )

Picks up where we left off book three. We get both perspectives on Arrow's egregious behavior and his background. His period of enlightenment had me worried for his poor wolf but there's always a happy outcome with this author. Of course, Flint's found family all had a hand in getting this couple sorted. With no shortage of action, humor and heart, this was an excellent adventure and now to wait patiently for the fifth and final book in this fantastic series. So many possibilities but always...
