I honestly thought with so many books I would get bored and move onto something else after reading the 3rd or 4th set. This series is amazing! I've loved every book so far and can't wait to steal some time for myself to read everyday. But this trilogy, Dark Widow, I could not put down!! You MUST give this series a shot! )

An edge of the seat suspense

The trilogy encircles Vivian and her children Ella (18), and Parker (12). Ella is tricked by a “boyfriend” and sold to a sex slave operation. They ensure her compliance with threats to her family. The slavers bugged Vivians house, work, etc…. Vivian had met Dr. Julian at a psychic convention and after he hit on her she suggested that her daughter Ella would suit him better. After the kidnapping Vivian was called by Dr. Julian and she told him about it. The Clan had recently started saving girls...

A lot of sex

When I ordered the first book and saw there was 80 in the series I thought oh no. After the first book I was hooked. The characters pull you right in and now I'm on book 24 and live this series. )

This trilogy focuses on Magnus and his mate. Julian attends a paranormal convention in hopes of finding possible dormants. He does meet a woman he is attracted to but she deflects to her daughter who is beautiful. He promises to see if he can help her find an acting job to save up for college. When he calls to follow up he discovers the girl is missing and the police can't help. Because the Clan is trying to shut down human trafficking they get involved in her rescue. Good read but graphic sex....

Lucas’ The Children of the Gods Series is such a rich world. The different experiences and perspectives from the multiple immortals are diverse, sexy and fascinating. The Dark Widow trilogy is no different, but the Helen of Troy allusions mixed with the hard realities of current human trafficking made this a serious page turner. )
