Dark Song (The Dark Book 34)

by Christine Feehan

About this book

Elisabeta Trigovise has spent centuries in the shadows, a captive of unspeakable cruelty who has forgotten what it means to be free. Though she is finally safe within the Carpathian compound, the scars of her past run deep, leaving her paralyzed by a fear that makes even the prospect of love feel like a trap. She is a woman defined by her trauma, struggling to reconcile her broken spirit with the sudden, overwhelming pull of a soul bond she is terrified to accept.

Ferro Arany, an ancient warrior once devoid of emotion, finds his cold, hollow existence shattered the moment he senses his lifemate. For this powerful shifter, the mission is clear but delicate: he must prove to Elisabeta that their connection is built on equality and devotion, not the chains she has endured for so long. He offers his own strength as a sanctuary, patiently teaching her how to reclaim the voice and power she lost in the dark.

Blending historical resonance with high-stakes urban fantasy, this dark romance explores the profound journey of healing through love. As an old enemy emerges from the shadows to reclaim his prize, Ferro and Elisabeta must fight for their future, proving that their shared song is stronger than any nightmare.

A Song to Remember!

September 8, 2020

Excellent addition to Christine's Dark series! Timid and tormented at the start of the book, which was highly understandable given her decades of captivity and abuse, Elizabeta was a fascinating character and rapidly became one of my favorite female characters. Ferro was also a refreshing hero, very alpha but also incredibly kind and caring and protective in a sweet and loving way almost from the very beginning, even when he was grappling with his new feelings for the heroine and his need to...

It’s taken me forever to write this review because Elisabeta and Ferro’s story is so amazing and the direction the Dark/ Carpathian Series is taking is so addicting I could write pages. So I believed I’ve narrowed it down and if you hadn’t realized it yet, I highly recommend this series and Dark Song! I Have been awaiting these two and their story since Dark Legacy. Wondering how they would navigate their journey after all they faced, and the dangers still coming for them, tormenting her... how...

AUDIBLE EDITION OF DARK SONG!!

September 2, 2020

THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON THE AUDIBLE EDITION!! It seems the Narrator Jim Frangione has Incorrectly changed the pronunciation of two of the characters in Dark Song. \"Genevieve\" we first meet in \"Dark Carousel\" and \"Joie\" lifemate to Traian Trigovise \"Dark Descent\". At First I didn't know who he was talking about. I keep thinking who are these characters? Soon it hit me he changed the way there names are pronounced. Why??? Is this a technical error. He got Genevieve's name correct in Dark...
