I read the reviews for this book before purchasing it. I was on the fence about purchasing the book considering some of the reviews were horrendous. I also was not too happy about the price of the book. But I've loved most of the books and liked the rest, so I bit the bullet. My verdict is as above: the BEST Carpathian novel in the series! I had many expectations with Dark Predator. I was looking forward to finally seeing Zacarias in his most darkest, sexiest, and alpha form. I expected action packed scenes, a reunion of sorts with his brothers and their life mates even a possible reunion with Ivory. I expected a stronger heroine and definitely stronger love scenes. I went into Dark Predator expecting to hate this book and found I actually really enjoyed it. I have not been a large fan of previous De La Cruz brothers and I didn't have much hope for this brother either. I was expecting to hate Zacarias the most of the brothers and found almost the opposite. Zacarias has actually become my favorite of the brothers.
