A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

Deep in the heart of the Peruvian rainforest, a primal war for survival is brewing. Sarika Silva, a jaguar shifter uncovering her ancestral heritage, discovers that the jungle is far more treacherous than she imagined. Caught between the bloodlust of vampires and the fierce territorial instincts of local shifters, her life takes a volatile turn when she meets Tomas Smolnycki. As an ancient Carpathian warrior, Tomas has wandered the earth in a world of gray for centuries, but from the moment he hears Sarika’s voice, his monochromatic existence is shattered by a sudden explosion of color and purpose.
This gripping entry in the long-running Carpathian series masterfully blends urban fantasy with the high-stakes intensity of paranormal romance. The chemistry between the two leads is electric, anchored by the classic enemies-to-lovers trope and the irresistible pull of a fated lifemate connection. While Tomas is determined to protect his newfound mate at all costs, Sarika’s fierce independence and reluctance to be bound create a compelling dynamic of mutual respect and simmering tension.
For readers seeking a story that balances historical depth with modern, supernatural danger, this novel is an absolute must-read. Whether you are a longtime fan of the series or discovering this immersive world for the first time, the blend of ancient lore, lethal predators, and heart-pounding passion will leave you breathless. Prepare to be swept away by this intense, fast-paced journey where the bond between two powerful beings may be the only thing capable of preventing total destruction.

Fantastic as always and read in one sitting! Could not put it down. I read all of Christine’s series as the plots are intriguing and the characters deep. She always does such a wonderful job investigating and researching language, sites, culture, historical significance, and rites. ) 2 people found this helpful

Tomas was so sweet and endearing! And Sarika was amazing, thoughtful, and intelligent and they both really worked together and respected each other, always working together to find solutions. The only downside of this book was that it was far too short! I want more! I loved seeing some old characters return and having them all be in the same room! Reminded me of the old Christmas special. Such a joy to read! If you want things to get hot and heavy fast and often, this one won't be it, but the...

We get to revisit the rainforest, and many of the characters in the Del A Cruz family! One of my Favorite families in this Series. Not only do we have that pleasure, along with some awesome updates for them, we have an interesting twist that made me scream when I finished the end! Am I the only person that feels lost when the story ends, excited for the next book, has a tempting desire to know what's coming next, but wouldn't want to ruin the journey the read takes me on?! I'm a Mess, and... I...
