This is the thirty third book in this series. And it’s as satisfying as the first. This features the hybrid Dane Vanderale. He is a son of the first Leo and has unknown talents and family secrets. He is drawn to Katy Chavos when she was just a teenage girl. He rejects her clumsily and hursts her deeply. She is rescued from further humiliation by Graeme Parker whose beast recognizes what she is and wants to save her. Knowing he may have to kill her in the end. Eight years later Katelyn returns...

Literally just got this and finished the book in less than 24hrs! I have been waiting for Dane’s story for so long and Lora did not disappoint! It was great seeing the more animal side of the charismatic Vanderale heir, showing he’s not always the cool cucumber he wants the world and other breeds to think he is. Funnily, I wanted to smack Dane upside the head so many times but I couldn’t help but feel for him because it’s obvious he loves Katelyn and he was warring with himself between his love...

Nice story that advances the Breed back and future stories. Dane has been a fixture of the Breed history for some time; nice for him to finally find his own mate - even if he does make a absolute hash out of it! Katy is a unique person with a tragic story of her own that leads to massive self esteem problems that Dane does not help with at first. Complex revelations that advance the Breed timelines and allow some hope. If she has them brewing, looking forward to more Breed stories again from...

This was a quick read for me as I had to stay up most of the night to finish it. I enjoyed the characters and how the story is expanding to include the “ three kings”. Looking forward to the continuation of the series. ) 2 people found this helpful
