So far every book that I’ve read has held me interested and compelled to read the next book. I hope there is more of the shifter series besides the next book curious to see what is going to become of their children. )

I have always loved the name Lucien for vampires and this book just reinforces that. Told from the FMC’s POV, it features less of the previous characters. Vampires are my favorite, so I was glued to this book! Found this better than the Shadow Beast (which started well and then deteriorated for me until the closing). This novel requires the background but can still be stand alone. It is very similar to “the Bachelor” series where 2 sought after vampire bachelors can select their mates, with Lucien and Simon “faking” it when she is forced to compete and he is forced to enter as a bachelor to keep an eye on her and ensure she doesn’t end as a mate to the other vampire bachelor who forced her to...

By far the best in this series!! I absolutely fell head over heels for CrimsonBee!! I mean come on they were perfect for one another. Simone always had this connection to that world and Lucien had a connection to her lol. Anyways the action and trails and the creatures were next level. I loved how she merged and came out better than ever. I am glad that Lucien took his head out his butt to see what was right in front of him. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Len and Sam. )
