Anytime I start a Holly Roberds book I know I'm in for a treat...and this book is a whole SNACK! This is a spin-off from another full series (Vegas Immortals) read that first. This story is about Miranda and Xander. Miranda we met in the previous series, but we get to know her so much better in this book. She's definitely a very complicated character. She's so strong, but has these huge walls erected around her heart. This helps her for what she needs to do, but I love seeing those walls come...

The relationship between Miranda and Xander has a realistic and amazing build up. Tons of tension building between them. I'll have to say the \"bathtub\" scene was my favorite.
