Katriana Cardona has spent twenty-one years fighting the walking dead in a brutal, post-apocalyptic wasteland. But when she is bitten and turned by the X-Clan, her survivalist grit is tested by a new kind of predator. As a rare Omega with the heart of an Alpha, Katriana refuses to bow to the rigid pack hierarchy of the Andorra Sector. She is a woman who won't heel, and she is ready to wage war against anyone who tries to break her spirit.
Ander Cain, the Alpha of the sector, sees Katriana as his fated mate and the beacon of hope his people desperately need. While he offers protection from the zombie infestation lurking beyond their borders, he demands total submission in return. What follows is a high-stakes power exchange fueled by intense BDSM dynamics, sizzling chemistry, and a volatile push-and-pull as Ander attempts to tame a woman who refuses to be conquered.
Blending gritty dystopian survival with steamy omegaverse tropes, this paranormal romance delivers a captivating look at found-family and pack-dynamics. Readers will find themselves caught between the heart-wrenching emotional stakes and the scorching heat of this intense shifter saga. If you crave a dark, addictive read where the romance is as dangerous as the world itself, look no further.

I was listening to this book on audio but it stopped about 2/3rd's of the way before the ending. I rarely pay over $3 for a book and this one was $5 and even though I'd already listened to most of it, but it was so interesting, I just had to purchase the ebook and finish the book to the end. This was a slightly different sci-fi book. I enjoy very alpha males as long as they are protective, have a good moral code, and are totally smitten with thier mates. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd definitely...

This was much much better than I anticipated. The characters were well thought out. And I just love an Alpha male smutty, steamy story. However, it did take me awhile to put together the world building part, but it ended up being great. The female character started out strong then became weak, then strong again? There was a lot of yo yo'ing that was frustrating. Also, I found the male character earned the title of \"stupid male\" , which was frustrating also. Having said all that, I do...

This book actually made me *cry*, with my heart aching for the main character. The BDSM dynamic was intriguing as well as the expertly woven world building. I've never read a book with a power exchange portrayed so well before this one. The darkness surprised me a bit as it is a stark contrast to the other books of hers that I have read, but it was just enough and not over the top. The only thing is that I wish there would have been an SA trigger warning due to one scene, but again, Ms. Foss...

I think the writing in this book is great. It's clear and compelling. There's definitely an audience for this kind of story, but I'm not it. Ander drugs Kat, mentally and sexually abuses her, belittles her, then intentionally abandons her when she needs him as a form of punishment. He has an internal monologue that implies he stayed away because he lost a lot of his interest after he breaks her. I honestly kept reading in the hopes that she really would choose someone else. Once it was clear...

In a post apocalyptic future, the world is ruled by shifters, and humans merely eke out a living. Katriana is a human who is turned by the X-clan wolves. Claimed by their alpha Ander, she has to figure out the best way to survive in her new world. It is a big shift for Katriana, and for Ander too. They both make mistakes, they both have to adjust, and a certain alpha has to grovel because he is definitely an alphahole at times. If you are a fan of Omegaverse romance, then this book is a great...
