A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

Talaith is a Nolwenn witch accustomed to being an outcast, but she hits a new low when an angry mob decides she belongs on a funeral pyre. Her salvation arrives in the most unexpected form: a silver-maned dragon named Briec. While his human form is undeniably lethal and handsome, Briec is also the embodiment of royal arrogance. According to ancient dragon law, Talaith is now his property, but he quickly learns that this particular witch is far from a typical damsel in distress.
This installment of the Dragon Kin series is a masterclass in paranormal romance, perfectly blending high-stakes fantasy action with laugh-out-loud banter. As Briec discovers, the most dangerous thing about Talaith isn't her volatile magic, but her sharp tongue. Their volatile dynamic is fueled by the fated mates trope, though the path to true love is complicated by Briec’s complete lack of experience with human women and Talaith’s refusal to be tamed.
If you are looking for an addictive shifter romance that balances battle-ready intensity with witty, enemies-to-lovers tension, this is your next must-read. The chemistry between the infuriatingly proud dragon and the fierce witch makes for a wild, witty ride that proves even the most powerful creatures are no match for a woman who refuses to be silenced.

This is the 2nd book in the series. I read (and LOVED) the first book (Dragon, Actually) and I knew the characters, their backgrounds, interactions, etc. That made the story richer for me (especially as we saw more of Annwyl and Fearghus in this book). However, I think you could read this book without reading the 1st in the series and not be lost. This book centers on Briec who is a dragon in a world where dragons can also assume the form of humans and Talaith. Talaith is supposedly a peasant...

This book is the second in the Dragon Kin series. I liked the variety of plot devices involved, along with a lot of humor in the narrative. The book includes a lot of action, as in battle action, and also a lot of battle of the sexes action, with the added twist that the males and females are of different species. This book focuses on Briec the Mighty, a Dragon formerly known as Briec the Arrogant (for good reasons), who saves human Talaith from being hanged and also burned as a witch, then...

Briec the Mighty just about had the market cornered on sheer unadulterated arrogance. Even for a royal dragon, he was considered arrogant, and that was saying something. Everything was beneath him and utterly boring, except the beautiful human he found in a small village. She refused to acknowledge his greatness and that intrigued him. Coming back for a second look at the human, Briec discovers his prize about to be hanged for a witch. Well he's not about to let the human die until he's...

Can a book be too good? I don't think so, but this one is close. I laughed and laughed at the witty reparte among the characters. It was like going on a camping trip with my best friends, we all sat around drank beer and talked smack all evening. . . well into the next morning. I have to admit I don't fully understand the fight till you fall into bed thing, but I would like too. Briec and Taliath made that \"mad' love relationship feel so fun and fulfilling. I can't say too much I don't want to...

I love the Dragon Kin series! It keeps getting better and better. The first book introduces the reader to the characters and the world which the author created. It does go into detail about Ferghous ( I apologize for the spelling of the names.) and Anawhal. The second book furthers their story while adding into it details about Briec and Thalaith. I love the dragons. All the siblings have such different personalities which you expect and I love the family dynamics. I can't wait to read the rest...
