The Rules of Darkness -- all 12 of them -- are so true that it feels like commandments we ALL should follow! Willingly, I might add, as author Tia Fanning pulls us with hurricane force right into a world that spans the here and the ancient; now and across the veil. Enjoy being swept away in such a blissful escape! )

First off, being that this is erotic romance, the sexy bits did not disappoint. However, the underlying story is well laid out with a compelling plot. The characters are complex and realistic. It’s an interesting blend of both contemporary and old world supernatural powers. Well done! Can’t wait to read book 2. )

Katia is a Headstrong FMC who, after her world collapsed with the death of her grandmother, refuses to accept her gifts and refuses to follow the rules that heep her safe from harm. I like the whole concept of the book. Katia isn’t wild or anything’s she’s very misunderstood and she follows what her hearts says to do for those she loves. Everything that happens in the book her grandmother already knew was going to happen. I feel katia also was afraid to love someone and have them leave her like her grandmother did :( )
