The romance story is a simple, yet solid one. Beth had a horrible first marriage and after her divorce and a life-altering mugging, she has this second chance to find true love. The connection between the two main characters was well portrayed and kept me turning the pages. I did struggle a bit with the head hopping as there are no divisions in the formatting to indicate when the switches in perspective come, so it made things jarring quite often.
