This is the 1st book I've read written by Anne Rainey; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. She works in the supplement energy and that brings Zar into contact with her. He is a leader on a mission to help his alien race. He knows that Callie can help him, but he had no idea that she would be his mate. These two are perfect for each other. Rich vibrant characters brought to life by Ms. Rainey’s sensual touch. The alpha males are the right touch of male for the beautiful alpha women they love. Riveting suspense and heartwarming stories with delightful touches of humor. The author has built a fascinating unique world within our world! This book had a lot of action in it. It made for a very interesting read. The plot lacked that generic feel that many romance books have. I loved the world building and how unique it was. The secondary characters were well done, too. It was a great read to a brand new series. I look forward to finding out where it will lead. ) One person found this helpful
