Wrath: The Devil's Descendants

About this book

- [x]

Luke Mephisto has carried the burden of Wrath since he was ten years old when his father was chosen as his generation’s Devil. Luke is certain it’s only a matter of time before that heavy crown falls on his own head. He is already a celebrated architect and currently designing the building of his dreams, one that will put him on the map for long after he’s gone. But there’s a new liaison with the client’s company and she’s ruining everything—coming to their meetings in her cute outfits and making kooky demands. And suddenly Luke doesn’t feel so wrathful anymore.

Mia avoids conflict in her life. She got plenty of that from her parents. But when she’s put in charge of her family’s new corporate headquarters, she takes a stand. She knows what she wants, and the surly architect will just have to deal with it. Underneath his grumpy exterior lurks a guy who makes her feel special, like her intelligence and talents are valuable. Except her nightmares have been especially hellish lately, and the Devil in her dreams looks an awful lot like her new boyfriend.

Smart, sexy, fun read

WRATH is book one in a new series, and I'm excited that I loved it so much....because that means I've got six more books to go. This book has everything: Ancient Curses, Deadly Sins, Gargoyles, Angels, Demons, romance, folklore, Heaven and Hell, and a super-smart heroine with a mind of her own, facing off against the literal incarnation of Wrath. The chemistry between them is hotter than Hell itself. Amylynn is an amazing storyteller, and her writing style is so smart, smooth, buttery and...

This was an interesting book. When it switched to the past I got confused but then realized what was happening. The storyline was good and shows love can happen even if you may become the devil. )

I really enjoyed this book. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. To watch the growth of Mia was awesome. I am really curious about this apple history and feel the need to deep dive. I also liked the take of the Lucifer story. I would recommend. (I don't write great reviews) )

Sexy fun!

This is a wonderful sunshine and grumpy romance. Mia is adorable and sweet and trying so hard to prove herself. Luke is the Sin of Wrath, grumpy at the best of times, and so drawn to Mia and her heart. Also apples are so much more interesting than I had ever known! )

Good balance of mythology and romance for a satisfying story.

What I Didn’t Like: -I didn’t find the POV chapters to be equally compelling. I enjoyed Luke’s chapters, for instance, more than Mia’s. Also, I enjoyed the Heaven interludes equally as much (if not more than) the other parts of the story. Not really a problem, just worth noting. If you don’t like one POV there might be another you like! -The back half of the book has a few typographical errors that must have been missed in editing. Nothing major that I couldn’t figure out. -Some of the most...
