I enjoyed the story though the editing was rough. I had to agree with some of the other readers that I liked Adam immediately, but Claire had a tendency to get on my last nerve. Then, I remembered how I was my last year of high school and into college. The age difference between the characters is definitely obvious by the maturity level of each. So...I wasn't sure how this would be as I started it. I had just finished a series that had left me breathless, so honestly I wasn't expecting much. Well boy am I completely surprised! Claire is an out-of-sort high school teenager with her little group of misfit friends. She is a damaged MC with a past she would instead not share. She is an ambivert, wanting alone time but loving her friends in small doses. She is a girl after my book-loving heart.
