This one took me on an emotional ride. So much misunderstanding and hurt and love in this book. I couldn't put it down, this one really tugged at the heartstrings. )

After having read the other stories this was on brand and I actually like keeping up with the other former stories...only issue is there’s no trigger warning for the sexual assault that happens which I didn’t appreciate at all. Gotta give your readers a heads up for something like that smh )

Phoenix and Storme 's journey to love is heart felt and beautiful. A little break from the general war coming story of the last three books in series was nice, though I know all will be dealt with soon. I love how the author integrates and continues the stories of the couples from the other stories in this series so you do get the feeling of a family coming together. )
