I read this and try to keep an open mind. The heroine had a great trauma in her early life and she was struggling to get past it. Our hero was very patient and understanding and help her work through it. To me, it just seemed a little juvenile in the way she handled the whole fake dating situation. Then there is this whole other mystery of what is scaring off the deer… )

I love this shifter story! I love wolves too! Winston is the perfect male, and perfect mate! He is patient, loving, observant, full of wisdom! And hungry! For the little human that tweaks his fancy. It started out with a bit too much drama for me but when you figure out what happen to Ana I understood better. I thought Charlene did a great job with Ana's character. Winston = amazing.
