by Rowen Burrows
Magic is all about balance. So, when the phoenix is not reborn, something is very wrong. If they do not return to the realms of the living, magic will start to crumble.
Bad things will happen.
Only one can potentially locate and save the phoenix. Prince Arryck of the Bird Shifters is willing to sacrifice his life to do it. His family has been through so much already, he won’t let them suffer more if he can save them.
One of the angels of death, Quinn, doesn’t think it is fair. They don’t want the man they care for to die, and he is so ready to do it.
Accompanying him, they hope to get him out of the Spirit Realm before his end, but time is ticking.
Can Arryck and Quinn save the phoenix and magic, or will Arryck’s sacrifice all be for nothing?
