As someone who has lost my brother, this book captured both my attention and my heart from the very first page. Walking through Iris’s grief over her brother Kai, and her growing love with Jasper, the story gave me hope in a way I never thought would be possible. a must read — I can’t even believe I let it sit on my shelf for even a couple days before picking it up. Instantly grabbed my attention, not only by the cover, but by the beautiful words Erin Halli writes. She is incredible and quite the storyteller, able to evoke emotions and tears, all while making you smile and laugh. I loved every second of this story. Reading it was like being wrapped in a cozy blanket in the fall with a warm latte in hand, rain falling outside and not a care in the world. It does touch on sensitive subjects like grief and loss but in the most beautiful way. I loved all the characters, the setting, the writing was beautiful and I felt just about every emotion while reading this book. It's perfect for cozy fall days or nights. 🍂☕️🧦 )
