Author is a talented story teller building a world you want to explore The writing is elevated without being pretentious and done in a way that makes this lesser explored idea accessible to readers who are familiar with sci-fi genre and those who may be dipping their toes in for the first time Don't sleep on this unique series, it's definitely worth your time. This book brought me to my knees. I have not cried as hard as I did reading this book. It broke me of the lost of my favorite characters and it left on a cliffhanger. Can't wait for book 3! ) One person found this helpful

I've been following S. A. Claremont since the beginning and was excitedly nervous for the second book to come out. I was floored to find it's so so so good. I loved the first book but I loved LoVeD LOVED the second! I'm already screaming for the third! I left the first book with many lingering thoughts and unanswered questions. I absolutely loved this book! This series gets better and better! Book 2 did not disappoint and has a intense ending! This book is well written, and has tons of twist and unexpected turns! I can't wait to read more from this author! )

While the first book was great, it was a little bit of a slow start (worth it in the end!). I have to say as a mom it has been a long time since I have knocked out a book it 48 hours. But wow this one had me. It has the perfect mix of mystery, action and romance. I couldn't wait to read the next page or chapter, even in times where I cursed the author's name.
