by Lucy Sonus

About this book

Her To-Do List: 1. Divorce. 2. Save the world

Angelina Guerisse’s life is one long, chaotic to-do list.

Between wrestling with her teenagers, battling her soon-to-be-ex, and just trying to keep the lights on, she’s hanging on by a thread. The last thing she has time for are the scorchingly hot dreams of a winged man who seems to know all her secret desires.

Then he appears in her kitchen.

He’s not a dream. He’s an Archangel named Raphael, and he’s got bad news: she’s the next celestial healer in her family line. And refusing the “gift” isn’t an option.

She doesn't want a new job, especially one with cosmic stakes. But she also can’t deny the pull toward her brooding, impossibly handsome trainer, a man who looks at her like she’s both a sin and a salvation.

"A breathtaking blend of celestial romance and supernatural suspense that will leave you believing in the power of forbidden love."

The first book in the Forbidden Wings series, where seven immortal warriors discover that the greatest battles are fought not with weapons, but with hearts.

This had such a strong, intriguing premise—an archangel healer who’s grown numb to humanity and a single mom discovering her own angelic power? I was so ready to be emotionally wrecked in the best way. The forbidden romance and celestial stakes definitely pulled me in at first, especially with the whole “love vs divine law” tension. But somewhere along the way, the story felt like it was trying to juggle too many glowing orbs at once. The plot with the virus, Nephilim, and angel politics added...
