This book was not what I was expecting. I didn't see Xavier cracking under the weight of Neveah's disappearance. That's when evil is more seductive, when one is in despair. That should have been the name of this book because everyone from, Eddy to Tia and Xavier is in some sort of despair. It will be most interesting how they turn it to joy. A wonderful read. You can't get enough. )

The story continues to keep me guessing about what’s happening next. The characters are still so in-depth and interesting. I just can’t stop turning the next page. I’m excited to start the next book in the series. )

I really enjoyed the way Dreia wrote this book. She stayed on the timeline, picking up right where things left off but didn't follow Neeva (the main character in book 1), instead she followed the other characters along their journeys. It was a breath of fresh air to have the focus on others. I loved the way we see Eddys journey, and her view and her struggles. I also loved that she finally was able to accept being loved and letting others take care of her. I can't wait to see more of Tia...
