The Dark Age is coming and there are those (like Kaye) who want to work with the Light to keep things from going totally ballistic and then there are the others (the powerful houses) who are planning on ruling over their own personal fiefdoms in a way that will likely not benefit humans. Erin Kellison truly has a gift for storytelling. I loved this entire series and am not sure if, with these re-releases, she's planning on revisiting this world; but I definitely want more!! Definitely start with the first book in the series. Otherwise, none of the latter books will make sense. )

Out of death and destruction come new beginnings. Amazing inner strength, family, loyalty, a bit of magic and a lot of free will and love, and down come the walls of fear and bias to provide the work and humanity with a chance at survival. Great story line, great length for the story to play out. Perfect again Ms. Kellison. The entire series of Shadow is a must read. I highly recommend it. )

I have thoroughly enjoyed Erin Kellison's Shadow Kissed series from the very first book, and Soul Kissed is no exception. She's created a beautifully complex world and has populated it with truly fascinating characters. Definitely a terrific addition to her series. )
