Holy hot demons!!! This was quite the ending to a beloved series!!! KEEP IN MIND...while this CAN be read as a standalone, I do NOT recommend that. Yes, Larissa does a great job with little recaps when needed, but you won't fully appreciate each character as much as if you'd read the previous books. This story was chock full of heart break, action, betrayal, and sweet moments to keep my black heart happy. There are a few POVs (and I LOVE that!!!), but the main story is about Azagoth and...

Wow is all I can say! This book grips you from page one and does not stop until the end. There are epic clashes of good and evil, surprises that will make you gasp, things that will make you tear up, plus some epic romance. The scenes and events leap off the page and make you feel like you are there right next to the characters. Wow, what a ride!!! There were so many ups and downs whole reading Reaper, it was the biggest emotional rollercoaster read of the year!!!! This story had me crying, then laughing and then crying some more. I will admit, I was wary of reading this one because usually I don't like revisiting a pairing; however, Larissa Ione made everything feel fresh and brand new again with Azagoth and Lilliana in this story, such that I felt I was reading about two very different characters and fell in love...

The 1001 Dark Nights books by Ms. Ione in the Dominica World were just teasers for me, sparking my appetite for a full length novel.
