A DEMON WITH FIRE IN HIS BLOOD…
Groomed to slaughter, Morthanion spent millennia battling the forces of light, claiming countless lives. Captured and banished to a remote island by the Mage Council, his fury knows no bounds - until he meets her. Mesmerized by her voice and beauty, he is powerless.
A WOMAN HE COULDN’T RESIST…
Aria knows survival means avoiding the other islanders at all costs. Yet when she encounters the dangerous, persistent Morthanion, it’s clear all the rules have changed. But can she forgive him the wrongs he’d done and grant him her trust…and love?
AN ISLAND MADE PRISON FOR THE UNFORGIVEN…
Stripped of magic, Morthanion understands that savagery is necessary to survive. When Aria’s true nature is revealed, the other inmates will stop at nothing to have her – and the demon would fight the entire world to keep her safe.

1st off, let me say, for that person giving 1 star review of \"rape\"... they obviously did NOT read this book. There is no rape. That's just absurdly idiotic. This book is fantastic. The story is rooted in fantasy mythos, loads of ancient lore. Fantastic world building, stunning visuals, excellent articulation of ideas. The characters are empathetic. You feel their frustration at each other and their situation. Very well done. This book could have had another 200 pages to fully developed the...

In all honesty, the cover art put me off a bit, but the blurb reminded me of another story that I liked, and I was a bored panda in search of some beastlies to keep me entertained for a while. I like the main couple very much. The world building was okay. I wish there was a better explanation of her people and who they were. The Demons history was explained pretty well. The supporting characters were good. ) 4 people found this helpful

I have read a lot of missteps in literature lately, churned out by everyone and anyone that has a computer and a spell and grammar check program. A lot of those self published books should not even have seen the light of day. Just because a person can read and enjoy a book doesn’t mean they can or should become an author, everyone might have a story, but not everyone can craft characters. Then just as I was about to throw up my hands and declare I have read all the solid Indie author’s in...
