What a FANTASTIC series!!! But I knew it would be, as I’ve read just about everything Ms. Aimee has published, here on the Kindle store & other reading apps. She has become one of my most favorite authors, & this series is another excellent reason why. Her uncanny imaginative skill at creating new worlds/realms & the characters that live in them is truly a gift! Long Live the King was such a satisfying conclusion, and I absolutely loved getting multiple POVs—five of them! It made the story feel rich and immersive. Jann and Diadre’s story continues to be my favorite ❤️ and every moment with them just reinforced why. Yilan took a while to grow on me throughout the series, but she finally got the character arc she needed in this book, and Melek played a huge role in that growth. Gall and Izzy went through so much that parts of their journey genuinely hurt...

And I’m not even joking in the slightest. I started around 8 am and finished just before dinner at 7 pm (with a break to shower, eat a breakfast bar, and grab some wine). Could. Not. Put. It. Down. First off, I want to applaud this Author for writing not 1, not 2, 3…or 4, but 5 fantastic POVs in this book. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with so many, nor been so glad to have them all represented. I loved the third book about Jann the Mann and Diadre, and I was afraid this last installment...
