About this book

“The perfect blend of suspense, paranormal thrills, and sexy romance.” Roxy Rogers, author of Be Careful What You Wish For

A fallen Lightbringer. A psychic heroine. A love that could cost them everything.

Cassie can read people’s hearts and secrets—until she meets Jared. Handsome, magnetic, and shielded by unbreachable walls, he stirs both her desire and her deepest doubts. Is he a stalker… or the only one who can save her?

Jared was once a warrior of the Celestial Realm. Now he’s been banished to Earth, sentenced to earn his way home by protecting Cassie from a relentless demonic assassin—one who can possess anyone, and strike anytime, anywhere.

Protecting her is his duty. Wanting her is forbidden.

But with every stolen glance, every touch he shouldn’t crave, Jared is torn between redemption and desire. And as the assassin closes in, Cassie must decide whether to trust the one man who could break her heart—or be her salvation.

Lightbringer, the first novel in the Celestial Affairs series, delivers an unforgettable blend of danger, passion, and the paranormal where angels fall, demons hunt, and love defies the laws of heaven. Perfect for fans of Deborah Harkness, Nalini Singh, and Christine Feehan.

RECOMMEND!!!!

Omg I live this book!!!! It did have its part where I was like \"uhhh this is really wrong\" but other than that the love story was really cute and good. The storyline was very interesting and very good. I wish that there was a book two and if there is I would definitely read it!!! This is not a BDSM book which I am thankful for because that kind of love and intimacy is just wrong so I am glad that this was not a BDSM kind of book. But as recently stated I would recommend this to any paranormal...

I downloaded this book a couple of years ago, and just read it.

I read a lot, but I tend to drag my feet on reading a first book in a series if that is the only one available. They may have good reviews, but occasionally it takes years for the second book to be released (if ever). So because I have a backlog of books to be read, this one got put aside. Doing so ended up to be worthwhile, since I see that the second book will be released next month. Now I won't have a long wait to continue the series, and neither will you if you're interested in a second...

What a wonderful book!

This book was just great. It grabbed my full attention immediately and didn't let up until I was done. I loved the premise of angels and demons. The Lightbringer was earthbound meeting Cassie, a \"job\" done well that would bring him home to the celestial realm. With so much action you are breathless if he will make it. When Cassie and Jared (the Lightbringer) fall in love you realize he was never meant to leave. She was his redemption. Loved loved this book and this author's great writing...

A fun read, lots of action, kept me turning the pages..I like the way the story moved along & enjoyed the thoughts of Jared & Cassie without too much description of surroundings or without loads of other baggage burying the story. ) 4 people found this helpful

Very entertaining read

I picked up this book during a free promotion. I've always loved books that deal with angels, demons and good vs. evil. This book seemed to promise all that and more from its description and I have to say it didn't disappoint. Cassie Lewis is a psychic who sometimes gets visions from touching others, but they are not always good visions. When she accidentally bumps into Dave in a local restaurant, she is overwhelmed with a horrific vision of torture and murder. This sets into motion a series of...
