I'm glad to see another fantasy romance in the Elioud universe. I'm a fan of Liane Zane's Elioud Legacy, so was super excited to see more. Helsinger is a stand-alone, but I'm glad I started with that trilogy, because it lays out the mythic foundations of the conflicts. Short version is that the good guys have angel blood and they're awesome. For those who are familiar with the Elioud Legacy, this book centers on Olivia's sister, Dianne.
