Huge fan of Abbie Zanders, as I've said in other reviews... this is the second book in the new Mythic series, and I have to admit that I liked it better than the first. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed \"Faerie Godmother,\" but I was really torn about who Ana ended up with. \"Fallen Angel\" is really interesting, and a bit darker in some ways. I’m really liking this new series by Ms. Zanders. I warn you, the heat level on these books has been abysmally low… ok, so it’s not that bad, but after her Callaghan Brothers series’ sexy hotness these have a totally different vibe and it’s something you have to get used to. Ok! Another very interesting story. This story is about Ryssa (fallen angel) and David (mortal man). The way these two meet is a sad situation - his mother moving on to her next journey. Found this book to be truly amazing. While very much a love story, the premise you learn is about a fallen angel and a human. I really enjoyed the back story of Ryssa, Zach, and Ana. The fun cast of characters, including Jax, Lenny, and Marcela, was great! Overall, it got me thinking about love and redemption and what one would do or sacrifice for love. (It brought me back to my philosophy classes!) It's a fantastic story and highly recommend it! )
